Sarit Klein | Co Club Director / Fitness Director

Sarit has spent the last four and a half years employed with RBC Royal Bank, most recently as a senior credit specialist. Prior to this, she had spent two years managing a jewelry and accessories shop in Toronto all the while completing a diploma in musical theatre performance at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts. In August of 2006 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and embarked several months later on a transformative evolution that has led her to La Pause Bien Etre. Certified as a personal trainer by C.O.R.F.I.T., Sarit has made it her life goal to help others change their lives, one day at a time, from the inside out. As co-director and fitness director, Sarit is looking forward to using her years of team leading, management, and customer care experience and integrating this with an ever-growing passion for fitness and nutrition. Franco Russo | Co Club Director / Sales & Marketing Director

Franco has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Business Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. His 8 years of successful involvement in the fitness industry as a Membership Consultant and Sales & Marketing Director has allowed him to acquire the necessary experience and knowledge in providing a superior product and service to all members in a consistent fashion.
His main focus is to ensure that all members enjoy a unique and positive experience on every visit while providing the necessary support toward the successful achievement of their health and fitness goals.
As co-director of La Pause Franco will be directly involved in the daily operations, committed to providing a superior level of customer service and satisfaction on all facets of the club. franco.russo@clubnouvellevie.com

Patricia Lourenço | Directrice du Club

Prior to immigrating to Quebec to join her family, Patricia was born and raised in Portugal, spending her first 16 years in Fado and Porto. In 2002 she decided to join her family and moved to Montreal on a permanent basis. The family unit is very important to Patricia and it played a major role in her decision to move.
She adapted quite quickly to the cultural and environmental changes that naturally occur when moving over to a brand new country. She rapidly adopted Montreal as her new home and soon after began pursuing her scholastic career with great success. With her great determination and perseverance and the help of her many professors at Villa Sainte Marcelline school, she quickly learned three new languages; English, French and Spanish.
Patricia invested the next four years directly involved in customer service. Her unparalleled level of professionalism as well as her friendly and welcoming attitude allowed her to successfully flourish in this field. It was in 2007 that she came across the opportunity of working at La Pause Bien Etre. She quickly fell in love with the idea of workng in the fitness industry and decided to join our family shortly thereafter, becoming an indispensible member of our team since the doors opened in December 2007. She is adored and loved by all of our members as she greets them consistently by their first name on each and every visit to the club. Patricia makes sure that the members always come first and ensures to all of them that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner, adding to thier overall positive experience. Noémie Jane Bull | Massotherapist / Pilates Instructor

In 2007, Noémie received her diploma as a massopractitioner in Swedish Massage at the Guijek institution in Montréal.
A few months later she also became certified in Shiatsu Namikoshi and Chair Massage at the Kiné Concept school.

Noémie has also received training in Brain Gym 101, Educational Kineseology, committed to the principle that intentional movement is the key to optimal living and learning.

Luis Calderon | Trainer / Master Running Coach / Spinning Instructor™

Luis was born in Puebla, Mexico in 1980. His passion to compete and succeed occurred at the tender age of 8 years old as he was selected as member of the Athletic Team representing his school, and he hasn’t looked back since. In 1988 he became a school, regional and provincial champion in the 80 meter hurdles, 75 meter sprint and 4x75 meter relay. In 1989 he participated in the National Championships in the same categories.
In 1992 Luis set his sights at the 100meter challenge and blew the competition away as he was crowned regional and provincial champion in the 100 meter hurdles.
In 1999 at the Tlaxcala Open Championship he finished in first place setting an Olympic like time of 10.75 seconds in the 100 meter dash.
Limited with opportunity in Mexico Luis decided to immigrate to Canada in 2001, learning English and French as his secondary and tertiary languages. He now faced a different challenge, learning to adapt culturally to a whole new world but he did so with integrity and lots of courage. To make a living he had worked in various restaurants as a cook. All the while he pursued his dream and became a member of the Montreal Athletic Olympic Team. Unfortunately due to financial constraints that are placed on many Athletes, Luis had no other choice but to end his career. Today he is a member of Club Prestige, an organization dedicated to training athletes on a national and international level. As a team member of La Pause Bien Etre he will help challenge the limits of all members in their pursuit of their health and fitness goals.

Sylvain Fournier | Trainer / Spinning and Aerobics Instructor

Being involved in sports and physical activity since his youth (Judo, Soccer, Gymnastics, Alpine Skiing, Cycling, Circus Arts) Sylvain has always been driven in working in an environment where Physical Fitness plays a major role. It was in 1999 until 2003 that he decided to pursue his goals and enrolled in a 4 year program in University where he acquired his diploma in Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives, the North American equivalence of a Bachelor in Kinesiology.
Since 2004 Sylvain has worked in a multitude of fitness centers and sports associations in Grenoble, France. He has acquired valuable experience and is now specialized in providing group classes (Spinning, Aerobics, Tonus, Stretching and more). Additionally he pursued specialized training in Spinning and POWER PLATE , a new concept developed by NASA.

Lily Lapierre | Yoga Instructor / Group Fitness Instructor

Lily Lapierre is a colourful choreographer, interpreter and teacher. She likes to step out of box, which explains an unusual education, including a bachelor in biochemistry followed by a bachelor in dance, creation profile at UQAM. She also studied in New York at the Limon Institiute. She dabbles in Contact Improvisation with Lisa Nelson and Andrew de L. Harwood, Peter Binham and Nancy Stark Smith. Lily is also a certified Yoga instructor. Since September 2007, she has been the co-director of Fleur D’asphalte, a dance and creation studio. For her, fitness is a way of life she loves to share with others. Her Leit Motif : A healthy spirit in a healthy body.

Grece Ghanem | ((B.Sc) Trainer / Group Fitness Instructor

Personal trainer, certified by the YMCA of Canada, Grece brings to the club more than nine years of experience both in terms of fitness as well as aerobic and gymnastic training.

Frédéric Guéveneux | Trainer

Born in Britain, Fred has lived in montreal for 2 years. You may be surprised to know that Fred has an unusual background for a coach, thanks to his experience and subsequent triumph over obesity. Fred has a strong level of commitment to all of his students and enjoys many sports including: triathlon, martial arts, bodybuilding and his passion BOOTCAMP!

Ramsey Hislop | Massage Therapist

Ramsey Hislop completed his professional training at Institute Kiné-Concepte located in Montreal. He has received training in Masso-Kinesitherapy, Kinetic Swedish Massage, Chair Massage, and Clinical Mobilization, and holds the designation o Certified Massage Therapist.
Ramsey believes in working “with” clients as opposed to “on” them. His preferred treatment technique is non oil deep tissue massage.
